Five friends were hanging around one friend's Grandma's house on a Sunday at 5pm eastern standard time. One friend was like, "Hey we should put something really cool into the universe to distract us from impending death and destruction!" And the other friends were like, "Hey that's really heavy but yeah sure sounds cool."
KELSEY FITZGERALD is a Massachusetts based designer who received her degrees from Northern Essex Community College and New Hampshire Institute of Art. Most recently she worked as a design intern at Alpha E Consulting in Haverhill, MA where she worked on a variety of commercial and non-profit projects. Her other interests include film photography, making homemade ice cream and pointing out bad design to her family. She would really like you to watch The OA on Netflix.

KATIE LANGLOIS is a poetry comic artist and zine-maker who last used her community college art degree to pick up a real big spider to put outside. Her work mostly consists of hashtag relatable hashtag question mark self-portraits about events in her life and her general feelings. Katie also organizes an art showcase of her friends and artists she admires called “What A Positive Adjective Show”. She loves you a lot unless you’re mean to customer service people, then she wants you to be alone forever.

MEGHAN MCCABE is a Youth Services Librarian who works with a variety of age groups. She tends to remember books by their cover rather than by their title or author. Her current choice of artistic outlet is putting acrylic on canvas to create textured pieces and writing. She has sold her artwork at local craft fairs, Haverhill Art Market events, and the art showcase “What a Positive Adjective Art Show.” Overall, Meghan’s glad she was invited to the party.

AMY TITUS is an illustrator from Massachusetts. She graduated in 2015 with a BFA in Illustration from Montserrat College of Art. She makes illustrations for children and comics for adults (although adults can like the illustrations too). She has self-published three comic zines: Casual Weirdo, I'm Just A Slug Trying to Survive, and Anticlimactic Coming-of-Age. She works in both traditional and digital media and is a member of the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators. Her cat is named Owen and he is very large.

KRISTEN M YOUNG often takes local writing classes for fun when she isn’t dressing up as fictional characters for local nerd conventions. She received her BA in English from the Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts, and is a member of the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators. She is a lover of fairy tales, drinking tea at coffee shops, and the color red.
